How useintents.fun works
Launch a Pump.fun coin from any chain. Pay in BTC, ETH, ZEC, USDC and more, and NEAR Intents handles the swap to SOL. This guide covers the full flow, every launch status, what it costs and what happens if something goes wrong.
Overview#
Launching on Pump.fun normally means holding SOL in a Solana wallet. useintents.fun removes that requirement. A launch is two things:
Name, ticker, image, description and an optional X link. Pinned to IPFS before anything touches a chain.
Any supported asset (BTC, ETH, ZEC, USDC, DOGE, XRP…) covering your dev buy plus a small fixed overhead.
Everything else is automatic: the swap is routed through NEAR Intents, the launch transaction is built and signed on Solana, and your dev-buy tokens are delivered to the Solana address you choose.
Quickstart#
- Open the launch form. Go to Launch a coin.
- Describe the coin. Upload a square image (PNG, JPG, WEBP or GIF, up to 5 MB), then add a name, ticker and description.
- Choose a dev buy. The amount of SOL spent buying your own coin in the launch transaction. 0 is fine.
- Pick what to pay with. The form shows exactly how much to send and roughly how long it takes.
- Enter two addresses. The Solana address that will own the coin, and a refund address on the chain you're paying from.
- Send the deposit. Copy the one-time address (or scan the QR) and send the exact amount from any wallet or exchange. The status page updates live until your coin is trading.
How it works#
A cross-chain launch moves through six parties. Each arrow is a real on-chain or off-chain step.

What is an intent?
An intent is a signed request describing an outcome rather than a route: “I give 0.0007 BTC, deliver 0.53 SOL to this address”. You don't pick bridges, DEXes or hops. NEAR Intents finds whoever can deliver that outcome and settles it.
useintents.fun uses the 1Click API. When you request a deposit address, 1Click returns a quote and a one-time address on your chosen chain. Anything sent there becomes your intent.
The solver auction
Solvers are market makers that hold liquidity on many chains. When your deposit lands they compete to fill the intent; the best quote wins and delivers SOL on Solana. Settlement is enforced by NEAR, so a solver is only paid once the SOL has actually arrived.
Two ways to pay#
| Cross-chain | Direct (SOL) | |
|---|---|---|
| Pay with | BTC, ETH, ZEC, USDC, DOGE, XRP and more | SOL |
| Wallet needed | Any wallet or exchange | A Solana wallet |
| Who signs the launch | The useintents.fun launcher | You |
| Time to live | 1–3 min after deposit confirms (BTC longer) | Seconds |
| Extra cost | 0.03 SOL overhead + swap spread | Network fees only |
Cross-chain
Your deposit is swapped to exactly the SOL your launch needs and delivered to the useintents.fun launcher. The launcher builds and sends the create_v2 + buy transaction with your address as creator, then transfers the dev-buy tokens to you in a follow-up transaction.
Direct with SOL
The server builds the launch transaction and signs it with the coin's mint key. You add the only other signature it needs: your wallet's. The server then broadcasts it and records the result. It only broadcasts the exact transaction it prepared, with the same mint and fee payer.
Launch lifecycle#
Every cross-chain launch is a small state machine. The status page polls it and advances it one step at a time; each transition is claimed atomically, so a launch can never be executed twice.
Status reference
| Status | Meaning | What to do |
|---|---|---|
awaiting_deposit | Deposit address is open. | Send the exact amount shown. |
incomplete_deposit | Less than the quote arrived. | Top up the same address, or wait for the refund. |
swapping | Deposit seen; solvers are filling. | Nothing. Usually under 2 minutes. |
swapped | SOL arrived at the launcher. | Nothing. Minting starts immediately. |
launching | create_v2 + buy is being confirmed. | Nothing. |
live | Coin is trading on Pump.fun. | Share your coin page. |
refunded | The swap could not be filled. | Funds are back at your refund address. |
expired | No deposit before the deadline. | Start a new launch; don't reuse the address. |
failed | Minting failed after retries. | Contact support with your launch id. |
Supported assets#
Pick any of these under Pay with. Assets bridged to other chains are labelled with their chain.
| Asset | Chain | Notes |

Costs & fees#
A cross-chain launch with a 0.5 SOL dev buy breaks down like this:
- Dev buy: exactly what you enter, spent on your own coin.
- Overhead (0.03 SOL): account rent for the mint and bonding curve, the token transfer to your wallet, and network fees. Cross-chain only.
- Swap cost: the solver spread and the 1Click fee are already included in the amount you are asked to send. There is nothing extra to pay.
- Pump.fun fees: standard protocol and creator fees on every trade, including your dev buy.
Route minimums
Some routes have a minimum size (around 0.06 SOL today). If your launch needs less, for example a 0 SOL dev buy, the quote is raised to the minimum automatically. The extra SOL is sent back to your coin owner address right after launch, and the form tells you before you deposit.
Ownership & creator fees#
The Solana address you enter as coin owner is written on-chain as the coin's creator at mint time. That has two consequences:
- Pump.fun creator fees from every trade accrue to that address's creator vault, and only it can claim them.
- The dev-buy tokens are transferred to that address right after the coin goes live.
Metadata & coin page#
Every coin gets a permanent page at useintents.fun/coin/<mint>. Its mint address is reserved the moment you open the launch form, so the page URL can be written into the coin's on-chain metadata as its website. Explorers, DexScreener and Pump.fun all link back to it.

Bonding curve#
New coins trade on a Pump.fun bonding curve: price rises as supply is bought. When the curve is fully bought, the coin graduates and its liquidity migrates to the Pump AMM automatically. Coin pages show curve progress live.
Safety & refunds#
- Refunds go to you, on your chain. If an intent can't be filled, NEAR Intents returns the deposit to the refund address you entered.
- Exactly-once launches. Each launch is claimed atomically before minting, and a stuck transaction is only retried after its blockhash has expired, so a coin is never minted twice.
- Mint keys are encrypted at rest and never leave the server. A reserved mint can be used once.
- No custody after launch. Tokens and any surplus SOL are sent straight to the coin owner.
FAQ#
Do I need a Solana wallet?
Not to pay. You need a Solana address to own the coin and receive the dev buy. You can paste one from any wallet.
How long does a launch take?
Usually one to three minutes after your deposit confirms. Bitcoin is slower because of block confirmations.
What if I send the wrong amount?
Too little: top up the same address or wait for the automatic refund. Too much: the surplus is returned to your coin owner as SOL after launch.
Can I edit my coin after launch?
No. Name, ticker, image and metadata are fixed at mint time.
Who gets the creator fees?
The coin owner address you entered. It's set on-chain as the creator.
Where does my coin trade?
On the Pump.fun bonding curve, then on the Pump AMM after graduation. Any Solana wallet or aggregator can trade it.
